
James Walker is a Research Fellow/Lecturer in Computer Science and Digital Creativity at the University of York. He is a member of the Digital Creativity Labs, and the York Cross-disciplinary Centre for Systems Analysis (YCCSA).
About James
James hold a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science with the University of Birmingham, as well as a MSc in Advanced Computer Science. In 2007 James achieved a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of York. He is also a senior member of the IEEE. Projects that he is working on include improving the development of interactive story-driven games, and the Esports Audience Response System (EARS).
James’ current research focuses on bio-inspired algorithms (including AI and machine learning) and their application to games and game data analytics.
