John is a Software Engineer in the Department of Computer Science with Digital Creativity Labs at the University of York.

About John

John formerly worked within the games industry creating games developed mainly in Unity, including Oddworld: New ā€˜nā€™ Tasty, Micro Machines World Series, I Am Bread, Volume and Lumo. Whilst undertaking this work he successfully released games for a wide range of platforms including desktop computers, games consoles and mobile devices.

John’s main focus at Digital Creativity Labs is to assist with the creation and development of prototypes to help further research currently being undertaken, as well as assisting to implement the findings of past research to create new and innovative software products.
