Magy Seif El-Nasr is a Professor at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences and College of Arts, Media and Design at Northeastern University, Boston. She is an associate editor for several journals, including: IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, IEEE Transactions on Computational Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence in Games, and Elsevier’s Entertainment Computing Journal.

About Magy

Magy has published over 100 international peer reviewed articles and has received awards and recognition for her work from the Artificial Intelligence, Agents, Interactive Narrative, and Game communities. She has ongoing industry collaborations, including Electronic Arts, a leading game company, and IgnitePlay, a social media and health independent company.

Magy has also chaired/co-chaired numerous conferences including: Foundations of Digital Games, International Conference on Entertainment Computing, Games User Research Summit, American Association of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Interaction Entertainment, Associate Chair for CHI Play, and CHI (User Experience and Usability Committee).
